Collections & Onboarding
Collections are curated lists of related acronyms, organized around common topics, teams, or roles. Instead of searching one-by-one, collections let you learn a cohesive set of terms in context.
What Are Collections?
Collections are themed groups of acronyms organized around a common topic or workflow. Think of them as guided tours through your organization's jargon.
Example Collections
- "New Employee Onboarding" — Essential acronyms every new hire should know
- "Sales Enablement" — Sales team terminology and key metrics
- "Engineering 101" — Technical concepts for non-engineers
- "Compliance & Security" — Governance and security-related terms
- "Finance Fundamentals" — Financial acronyms and metrics
- "Product Manager Starter Pack" — Core product terminology
Onboarding Collections
Onboarding collections are specially flagged collections shown to new team members automatically.
Onboarding Trigger
When you first join the organization (or within your first week):
- You'll see a notification or banner on your dashboard
- It highlights available onboarding collections
- Each collection has a description of its purpose
Why Onboarding Collections Matter
- Faster ramp-up: New hires understand company jargon within days, not weeks
- Curated content: Admins select exactly what matters for your role
- Structured learning: Move through terms in a logical order
- Reduced confusion: Avoid asking "What's an OKR?" in your first meeting
